This amazing wine is an aromatic union of Viognier, Marsanne and Muscat all grown in our own vineyards. Picked by hand, fermented and aged on skins for 215 days the wine was then pressed and rested in older demi muid oak barrels. Bottled in the following summer without filtration this uncompromised wine offers a perfect journey from our place to your glass. With love and gratitude.

“Grown not made” is the philosophy that duo James and Annie Millton follow to ensure their wines portray a sincere expression of Gisborne terroir. Considered pioneers in biodynamic wine, Millton Vineyards have been crafting wine using low-impact techniques since their very beginnings in 1984. They were one of the first to achieve Demeter certification, guaranteeing the highest standard of biodynamic agriculture and horticulture. To further solidify this commitment, in June 2012, James Milton was named a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit as recognition for his services to the New Zealand wine industry.
