The 2007 vintage was influenced by one of the worst droughts we have seen. Consequently yields were down and this of course had the effect of concentrating fruit flavours relative to other recent vintages. Late varieties such as Merlot were picked early resulting in tightly structured wines, the low yields have however ensured some high quality wines were made.
