Thorne and Daughters Wines was started in 2012 by John and Tasha Seccombe to produce authentic wines in Western Cape. To produce their wines they’ve drawn on the great history of wine growing there in South Africa, putting together old vineyard parcels with new grape varieties, and making wines with old school simplicity and a modern ‘edge’. Their approach to wine making is simple, honest and gentle, and they are looking to make wines that tell a story of the Cape of Good Hope.
