The Cockscomb Cabernet Sauvignon shows classic varietal characters. It is a medium to full-bodied wine with considerable presence; ‘Cockscomb’ shows a lovely nose of red currants and blackberries and finishes with well-rounded tannins and length. It will go very well with roast leg of lamb or with hard cheeses.

Battle of Bosworth makes single vineyard, organically grown wine that expresses the unique characteristics of their family vineyards in the McLaren Vale foothills. Joch and partner Louise Hemsley-Smith established the winery in 2001, using vines that were planted in the early 1970s by Joch’s parents, and here they produce wines with purity and well-balanced texture and flavour.
