This unique blend of red wine for the enjoyment of many people. A marriage of Malbec and Syrah with a splash of Viognier. Dark and brooding with lifted spice, tingling aromas quite unique to this wine and its own natural surroundings. The taste is dense but alive with mint, chocolate, Asian spice, and warmth of a feather pillow for a fatigued head.

“Grown not made” is the philosophy that duo James and Annie Millton follow to ensure their wines portray a sincere expression of Gisborne terroir. Considered pioneers in biodynamic wine, Millton Vineyards have been crafting wine using low-impact techniques since their very beginnings in 1984. They were one of the first to achieve Demeter certification, guaranteeing the highest standard of biodynamic agriculture and horticulture. To further solidify this commitment, in June 2012, James Milton was named a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit as recognition for his services to the New Zealand wine industry.
