Geoff Merrill Bush Vine Grenache Rosé 2017 McLaren Vale, Australia
The colour is a beautiful and delicate salmon/rose petal pink. The aroma is a wonderful mix of cherry blossom, perfume, violets and raspberry. The palate is fresh, lightly bodied and very easy to drink. The flavour, weight and structure are all very much in sync. Well match with shellfish, spicy Asian salads, anything from fish and chips to pan fried whiting, Japanese seafood (Sashimi/Teppanyaki).

GEOFF MERRILL WINES – McLaren Vale
Crafting wines under his own label since 1980, Geoff Merrill’s winemaking philosophy has been and always will be, to make wine that allows regional, varietal and vintage expression without excessive winemaker intervention. The McLaren Vale, in coastal South Australia, has unique characteristics – thin soils, limited water, and warm summers that harness the grape’s natural vigor and produce intense flavored fruit. ”
