A blend of 70% Chardonnay & 30% Pinot Noir. This “Méthode Cap Classique” (bottle fermented sparkling wine) is a blend of red and white grapes displaying the full, balanced yeasty complexity synonymous with a wine made in this style. The wine retains its fresh racy zestiness that is a result of crisp acidity and delicate fruit.

The winemaking tradition of the Grier family began in the 1970′s with cousins Jeff and Simon Grier qualifying as oenologist and viticulturist respectively. Their pursuit of winemaking excellence found a home in 1983 with the purchase of the Villiera vineyards in the Stellenbosch Region. Today, award-winning winemaker Jeff Grier crafts a range of wines characterized by a strong reflection of Villiera’s unique terroir, maintaining the distinct aromas and flavours of the different varietals.
