Hartenberg Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Stellenbosch, South Africa
So typical of the vintage this red is fruit-driven, with perfumed violets, cigar box, wood spice and vanilla aromas. Palate reminiscent of a coiled spring, waiting to release layers of flavour. Very elegant, tightly structured, showing early potential and yet finishing in soft, polished tannins.

HARTENBERG ESTATE – Stellenbosch
The first settlers to cultivate the virgin land of the estate known as Hartenberg were in 1692. Today the winery remains in the safe hands of the MacKenzie family who took over in 1987 and have been following their vision of producing outstanding quality wine ever since. The winery itself covers 99 hectares of vineyard, comprising a total of nine different soil types and many different aspects and microclimates.
