Hans and Therese Herzog, originally from Switzerland, were looking for a new challenge when they moved to New Zealand during the mid 90s and developing a boutique wine estate was exactly that. Producing a variety of handcrafted varietals with a strong focus on low yields and non-interventional winemaking, the couple excelled within their field and Herzog is now widely acclaimed as one of the best in the country.
