A blend of 70% Shiraz, 28% Mourvedre and 2% Viognier. An alluring of cherries, black and red berries and layered with dark chocolate, winter spice and gentle floral notes. The nose carries through to an intricate and intensely fruited palate that is both powerful and graceful. A long, full finish of structure and complexity. An excellent food wine that will match with rosemary roasted lamb, char-grilled beef steaks, spicy sausages and tomato based vegetable ragout.

Originally known as ‘Bellinchamp’ (pretty fields), Bellingham begins its story in 1693 when Hollander Gerrit Janz van Vuuren and his French Huguenot wife planted the first 1000 vines on the estate.
The new century saw a shift in the Bellingham portfolio and The Maverick range of wines was launched in 2002 – a challenge to convention and custom. Boldly exploring new territories in the fine art of crafting wine, Bellingham has received numerous international awards and acclaim.
