An intense dark red middle with a ruby red rim plotting sweet spices, plums and mulberries with hints of vanilla on the nose. Hints of ripe and juicy raspberry, strawberry and black cherry flavours are supported by liquorice, clove and cardamom with well-integrated oak spice on the palate and an exciting tannin structure. A great match with Rosemary and Elderberry roasted leg of lamb, venison, spare ribs with a rich barbecue sauce, oxtail or osso buco.

Originally known as ‘Bellinchamp’ (pretty fields), Bellingham begins its story in 1693 when Hollander Gerrit Janz van Vuuren and his French Huguenot wife planted the first 1000 vines on the estate.
