PINOTAGE is a unique grape variety developed in South Africa by crossing Pinot Noir and Cinsaut in 1925. It wowed the world when the 1989 Kanonkop Pinotage took centre stage at the 1991 International Wine & Spirit Competition.Now, the new generation winemakers are taking this grape variety to the next level with different interpretations from Cap Classique and Rosé to Pinot Noir-like red and age-worthy classic. Pinotage has never been so exciting!
