Join Wine N Things for an evening dedicated to the “Holy Grail” of grapes: Pinot Noir. Hosted by winemaker and educator Kyle Oosterberg, we’re continuing our 2026 series with a deep dive into the most elegant, expressive, and debated red wine in the world.

We’ve curated six world-class bottles from Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa to show you how different climates and soils can transform this delicate grape into something truly magical. No stuffiness, no pretence—just incredible wine and great conversation.

The Lineup: 3 Countries, 6 Expressions

Australia: Coastal Breeze meets Valley Depth

• Wine 1 – Mornington Peninsula: Stonier Pinot Noir 2023 – Fresh, maritime-influenced, and vibrant.
• Wine 2 – Yarra Valley: Yering Station Estate Pinot Noir 2023 – Silky, structured, and classic.

New Zealand: North Island Power meets South Island Soul

• Wine 3 – North Island: Kumeu River Hunting Hill Pinot Noir 2021 – Rare, focused, and intensely elegant.
• Wine 4 – South Island: Two Paddocks Pinot Noir 2023 – Deeply aromatic and full of Central Otago character.

South Africa: The Modern Frontier meets The Timeless Estate

• Wine 5 – Cool Climate: Crystallum Peter Max Pinot Noir 2024 – High-altitude freshness meets wild berry fruit.
• Wine 6 – Warm Climate: Meerlust Estate Pinot Noir 2023 – Sophisticated, earthy, and refined.

• Date: Wednesday, March 18th OR Thursday, March 19th (Pick your night!)
• Time: 7 PM – 9 PM
• Location: Wine N Things Tasting Gallery – Unit A1 & A2, 2/F, Block A, Vita Tower, 29 Wong Chuk Hang Rd, Aberdeen. (5-min walk from Wong Chuk Hang MTR Exit A1)
• Price: HK$500 p/p — Includes all 6 premium wines (lite bites of cheese and charcuterie included).

We’ve stripped away the “stuffiness” and pretentiousness often found in formal classes. This is a chance for like-minded people to come together for great wine and even better company.
