Grace Gris de Koshu 2023
Yamanashi, Japan
Clear and faultless. Fresh with an overflow of fruity aromas such as white peach, pear, orange and orange peel, floral notes of sandalwood and jasmine, and spicy aromas of white pepper and clove. On the palate, smooth and round, with refreshing acidity and umami.

GRACE WINE – Yamanashi
Established in 1923 in Katsunuma, this family-owned winery established by Chotaro Misawa is now run by his fourth-generation successor Shigekazu Misawa, whose daughter Ayana is in charge of winemaking. The main-winery is still in Katsunuma and produces primarily Koshu. Since 1990 the family has been concentrating its efforts on improvements in grape production. The winery’s goal is a wine reflecting a unique combination of soil, sunlight, and altitude. It has been a pioneer in replacing conventional Japanese viniculture with vertical shoot positioning to produce a more richly flavoured grape. The goal is wines that are eco-friendly, with a natural, gallant and quietly elegant taste.
