Classic Shiraz flavours of cherry, liquorice and red plum fill a generous body with more subtle notes of cinnamon, vanilla and raspberry. These come together to form a complex core with an elegant, soft & velvety tannin structure completed by a deliciously lengthy finish. Well match with roast duck.

MAXWELL WINES – McLaren Vale
Maxwell Wines, with its 40 acre vineyard of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Grenache and Verdelho, is north of the township of McLaren Vale, just a fifty minute drive south from Adelaide. In 1997 Maxwell Wines relocated from their original winery, established in 1979, to a new site designed to take advantage of the gravitational flow of the grapes, contributing to the quality of the wine.
