This wine shows passionfruit and citrus characters along with grapefruit and green herbs. Dry and saline, the lively palate has a creamy texture and a juicy finish. The multi layered palate is rich and complex with a dense fruit core. These flavours and aromas leave a fresh lingering finish on the palate making it a full satisfying wine with balanced acidity.

Bright, pale lemon-yellow, even colour throughout. The nose is vibrant and full; the glass is packed with nuances of passionfruit, gooseberries, fresh-cut grass, along with pineapple and sage scent. Light-bodied, bright and fresh aromas of citrus, passionfruit, pineapple rushing in, intermix white pepper and sage herbs. The finish is refined and lingering. Acid tension flow with good energy lends a mouthwatering, refreshing closing. Match with pan-fried whitefish and shellfish over the next 2 years.

Vibrant, distinctive and pungent bouquet with aromas of sweet grapefruit, apple, pith and sweet hay. There’s a mix of fresh herbs with topical fruits and a stony mineral-water scent. Delicious on the palate with flavours of passion-fruit and pineapple, pacific rose apple flesh and lemon. Fresh herbs and mineral are persistent as is the acidity and saline effect. As always extremely well made with a long finish. What’s not to like?

This is intensely aromatic on the nose showing Granny Smith apple, kiwifruit, green rock melon and lemon zest aromas, leading to a wonderfully flavoursome palate that’s juicy and lively. A splendidly expressed sauvignon, offering terrific drinking. At its best: now to 2023.
