Bright salmon pink. Fine mousse with some viscosity. The aroma is rich and complex, showing notes of cherries, raspberries, orange flowers, dried roses, licorice, and coffee. The taste of concentrated fruits resulting from low yielding grapes expands o n the palate. A dry wine with mild acidity, and an impressive, creamy smooth mousse. While the concentrated fr uit flavor gives structure, the wine retains fine grained elegance.

Winery Profile
GRACE WINE – Yamanashi
Established in 1923 in Katsunuma, this family-owned winery established by Chotaro Misawa is now run by his fourth-generation successor Shigekazu Misawa, whose daughter Ayana is in charge of winemaking. The main-winery is still in Katsunuma and produces primarily Koshu. Since 1990 the family has been concentrating its efforts on improvements in grape production. The winery’s goal is a wine reflecting a unique combination of soil, sunlight, and altitude. It has been a pioneer in replacing conventional Japanese viniculture with vertical shoot positioning to produce a more richly flavoured grape. The goal is wines that are eco-friendly, with a natural, gallant and quietly elegant taste.
