Codorniu Art Collection Jaume de Codorniu Grand Reseva 2013
Barcelona, Spain
Pale gold with faint pinkish reflections. Intense, complex aromas of peaches, red currants, melon, and other ripe fruit blend beautifully with aging notes of nuts, toast, honey and even yeast, all of which return in the mouth. Creamy, elegant and persistent in the mouth. Perfect with unseasoned fish and seafood, and also with fowl, and even with mushrooms and some meat dishes.

Codorníu is synonymous to the history of a family of winegrowers which goes back to the XVI century. It is the oldest family business in Spain and one of the oldest in the world. It now has 450 years of history behind it. They were the first winery to create cava using Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Pallerada grapes.
