Beyerskloof Synergy Cape Blend 2009 (Cab/Pinotage/Merlot)

Stellenbosch, South Africa

A blend of 62% Pinotage, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, and 10% Shiraz. The nose displays abundance of sweet black currant with hints of red cherry. Classic cedar and forest floor with a timid leathery undertone. Palate offers black fruit with a finely balanced, juicy and savoury mid palate. Firm yet elegant ripe tannins. A fresh acidity provides a lingering finish.
