Bird in Hand Chardonnay 2010

Adelaide Hills, Australia.

The wine has been fermented and matured for 10 months in a mix of new and old French oak barriques. Aromas of stone fruit and citrus are supported by complex oak characteristics. The malo-lactic technique creates creaminess with peach & pear flavours with a subtle citrus & flint undertone. The resulting wine is elegant yet powerful with great length and layers of sophistication.
